Tuesday...

My computer is still not working downstairs, so I am up here in the cold again blogging away. I have my scary space heater warming me, yes that space heater, but I am keeping my eye on it! My daughter just came up here asking me why I didn't wake her up to go to school(I didn't mention last night they didn't have school), I told her that they cancelled school today, and you would have thought it was Christmas morning all over again, she just ran downstairs and she is now spreading the "good" news to Nash, I am currently waiting on a loud "YAY!!!" to echo throughout the house.

You know I had an awful day yesterday, it was one of those days where you just sit in a corner and cry a little. The kids were all crying at the same time about something, a breaker blew and I had to brave the cold basement trying to figure out which one to switch back on, my computer downstairs stopped connecting to the internet, then my furnace wouldn't kick on so the house temp dropped down to 59 degrees. My wonderful husband came home early from work so that he could fix the furnace, it was just a breaker that I had accidentally shut off when I was messing with the box, so he left work for basically no reason. But I did have some good things come in the mail, I received my Red Sleepy Fox that I ordered from Sleepy King a week or so ago, I just love her little creatures and now she is selling some beautiful headbands in her shop as well!
Here he is...


He now sleeps quietly next to my sewing machine and I think he is quite content!

I received some of the pretty fabric that I had ordered from Etsy...hummmm, what to make, what to make???

I also placed a custom order for a knitting bag made by a lovely girl named Maggie Whitley she has a adorable Etsy Shop called Gussy, she sells the cutest bags and wallets, she tops off the cuteness with a pretty ruffle on every one of her creations, you must check out her shop!


You have know idea how excited I am about this(I am sure that Maggie knows)! My Birthday is in 13 more days, and this is my birthday gift from my family!

So, I had mentioned in a previous post that I am wanting to do a 100th post giveaway, but I only have 4 wonderful followers(thank you, thank you, thank you!), so if you read my blog, please feel free to follow along, trust me, my giveaway won't disappoint, I tend to overdue things! I have been window shopping on Etsy and thinking of new things to create to make the giveaway special and exciting! Don't get me wrong, I will still do the giveaway whether I have 4 or 40 followers, the odds will just be a little better for them! (0;
