I'm a Winner!!

This morning while I was peeking at all of the blogs that I follow I discovered that I has won a giveaway prize from the Sew Fantastic blog, she put together the "12 Days of Christmas Giveaway" where she posted a new item to be given away for 12 days! I won the 12th day of Christmas giveaway, (I never win anything) which was a fat quarter set of fabric which has been hand dyed. Also included was a skein of the HDT in less than 50 yards with the FQ bundle. The generous lady behind these items goes by the name Zarina, her blog "Concerning Zarina" is a good read as well, you should check it out www.concerningzarina.com, sorry, I still haven't figured out how to link sites, but please take time to visit her blog as well as the Sew Fantastic blog! They also have shops on Etsy!!

Here is a picture of what I will be getting!

I am just so happy and excited about this! It's even more exciting because I am going to be taking a knitting class tomorrow and I have been teaching myself to crochet, and how lovely would anything that I create be using these beautiful colors! And the fabric, don't get me started on the fabric! Lovely, so lovely!

This evening is my daughters Christmas Pageant at her school, she is pretty excited about being able to wear her pretty new dress and shoes that I got her! I will take some pictures and post them tomorrow, hopefully!

I hope that all of you have a lucky day!

  1. Congratulations Megan. I have just completed a wall hanging using the other FQ bundle. I hope to get it done next week but will only be able to show in my Flickr page since the recipient reads my blog. I will wait for Terry to send me the confirmation email before sending it off.

I too got my first sewing machine around this time last year. At the same time, I attended the beginner FMQ lessons. The rest, well, its history.

I hope you have fun with the prize. The thread is very fine so I doubt you will be able to crochet using it that soon.
