I just wanted to share some photos I took this morning of the day after Missouri's 1st Day of Spring...
This is our front porch, I couldn't even open the screen door, so the black on the left side of this photo is our door!
Friday was a beautiful day, it was 65 degrees, sunny and perfect, so the kids played outside as soon as they got home from school...yesterday I went out to get the mail and found their backbacks covered in snow because they had left them out all night long! They thought that was hilarious...me, not so much!!

Now, most of the snow has melted and our yard is a big muddy mess, but for some reason they called school off for the kids tomorrow, so it should be a fun day here at the Cantrell house!Did you catch the hint of sarcasm in that last sentence??

ReplyDeleteHope the backpacks were waterproof! lol Southeast Missouri didn't get any snow... just lots and lots of rain. Its still coming down. I want our 70 degree temps back!

Texas was "blessed" with snow as well. We got about 4 inches I think. So, not nearly as much as you, but still...Snow on the first day of Spring? This has been the craziest winter in Dallas ever! I was going to call you later but maybe I'll call tomorrow since the kids are home.
