Happy Friday!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am enjoying today because we are supposed to have a snow storm tomorrow here in Missouri...the first offical day of Spring and it's going to snow, but that's Missouri for ya!
So I will just picture this tomorrow while the snow is falling...

and imagine it is perfect Spring weather!

Last night Izzy (the toots) made a new friend...

It was too cute, she just kept yelling at her reflection and trying to grab the mirror to see who was behind it!
She finally decided to just love on whoever this strange baby was wearing her clothes and holding on to her daddy! Kids...they crack me up!

Gabe and I are in need of some time away, so the other night we decided to find somewhere to get away for a weekend, just the two of us. He knows that I love thrifting and that I have hit just about every shop within a 50 mile radius of where we live, he suggested we go to this perfect little(not really little)town called Weston,Missouri, it's a couple hours North of us, I have never been there, but have always wanted to go! We booked a room at a quaint little Bed and Breakfast called The Hatchery House, here is a little back story on the place...
"In the 1930's, the Wood's home was converted into a boarding house. Quite often, due to the inexpensive rent, newlyweds occupied the apartments. As time passed, many of these young couples conceived and had their children while living here. Consequently the townspeople coined the phrase "The Hatchery" for the "hatching" of the babies."
No, Gabe and I aren't going there to "hatch" any babies! It was actually the only place that had an available room for that weekend, I guess that weekend is the big Pirates Ball and they are having a Murder Mystery thing there as well! Needless to say, it will be a very eventful weekend full of interesting things to blog about the next day, I will make sure to take a lot of pictures, I am sure there will be some good ones!!
Here is the room we are going to be staying in...

Holladay Brothers Blue Room
It has a private balcony overlooking Weston's skyline!
We are also going to tour the winery's, even though Gabe and I don't drink wine...and eat at the local Irish Pub! I am so excited and so ready!!

Well, I hope all of you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
