HOMECOMING!

This past Friday was our town Homecoming, and like I said before...we take it very seriously!

We always have a big parade showing off the floats, marching band, cheer squads, football team and the Kindergarten through Sixth Graders creative touches on that years theme...this year the Homecoming theme was HOLLYWOOD...

The kids before they went to school.

It's hard to believe that Nash is the class of 2023...that's just crazy!

Ragan's 3rd Grade Class!

See my little star!!

Izzy is enjoying the parade!

This is my Nephew...he loved him some Izzy!!

This is the Junior Float...my Nephew's!

I took a lot more photos, but Blogger is acting strange again...uploading photos upside down and sideways!!

We had a great time, the weather was perfect and it is still perfect...I think Fall has officially arrived in Missouri, YAY!

Okay, now I want your opinion...
I am thinking of dying my hair a different color than my usual dark brown...

                                                                        1                           2                     3
I am thinking Auburn Red...what do you think...which is your favorite?

And

Do you think Gabe should have gone to the doctor for this...?

Last Monday he fell and twisted his ankle...this was taken just a couple days ago...he thinks it's fine, but I think he should go to the doctor...it looks broken to me!!

But, this is the guy who ran a chainsaw through his knee and just put a band-aide on it, the guy who ran an electric screwdriver through is chest (still has the scar), the guy who thinks a butterfly band-aide is a fix all...he is like talking to a brick wall when it comes to going to the doctor, but acts like a baby when he gets a cold! HA!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!!!

  1. Hi Meg, glad you all enjoyed the parade. I love Auburn hair my favourite is number 3. I did the same thing to my ankle and it looked liked Gabes then it went black :( and then every colour of the rainbow. They told me i hadn't broken anything but when i saw a doctor a few months after he said i had broken a small bone in my foot, it still plays up now. Russ is so like Gabe he just patches himself up and carries on working! xxx

  3. Wow! class of 2023? That seems so far away! cute!

My husband's ankle looked like that when he rolled it playing basketball. We thought it was just a sprain but it ended actually being broken. They just put him in one of those boots for a couple weeks. That is about the time Seth started running. Men... they don't like being told what they can't do! :) Hope he heals soon!

  4. This got me all excited for my homecoming! I'm in highschool, so I can't wait to dress up for homecoming week, every day is a different theme, including nerd day, tacky tourists, sports day, etc. And then the homecoming dance at the end of the week! Ahhh so much excitement!

I love love love that red shade in the third picture

And jeez Gabe is such a champ! If I even get a little bruise I'm crying like a baby. He should probably get that checked out though. Hope everything's okay!
