Last night Gabe and I watched the documentary by Thomas Balmes, "Babies"...oh my goodness, this was so fun and educating to watch.
It's a look at one year in the life of four babies from around the world, from Mongolia to Namibia to San Francisco to Tokyo...their first breath to their first steps!

Mari - Japan ( She reminded us a lot of Izzy)
Hattie - United States
This is a must see for any parent out there, it really opens your eyes and hearts. I loved seeing the different ways the mother's of these cute little ones bathed, fed, disciplined and taught each of them, I guess as an American mother I take for granted the "simple" things, like running water and electricity...I loved it and I will definitely watch it again!
