Two years ago yesterday my sweet husband, bent on one knee, asked me to marry him next to the fountains in front of Union Station in Kansas City...of course I said yes, next month we will celebrate 2 years as man and wife!
Nine years ago on Sunday my amazing daughter, Ragan came into this world...stubborn and keeping me on my toes, she was a scheduled induction for October 16th, but she didn't want to be born that day, so she waited around until 4:22 P.M. on October 17th...then an hour after she was born, she stopped breathing and scared the crap out of her new inexperienced mom. She is getting so big, she may only be turning 9, but she acts like she is turning 19!
We will be celebrating Ragan's birthday on Saturday, she hasn't decided if she wants to go to a pumpkin patch or Science City at Union Station...either way, we will have a great time!
